Mike Bertie
Executive Director
Mike, who is based in Emerson Bond’s Edinburgh office, is a graduate of the University of Abertay Dundee and a chartered surveyor with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, 15 of these specialising in due diligence and project monitoring. Mike’s extensive experience in the UK and the Republic of Ireland has involved advising funders on more than £1.5 billion in development finance across all sectors. His particular specialism is in PBSA, commercial property, residential property and hotels.
Stuart McEwan
Managing Director
A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Stuart started his career in due diligence and project monitoring as a University of York graduate in economics in 2007. Having worked on projects across all sectors, he has experience of assignments ranging in build costs from £1 million to £1.5 billion. Now based in London, he has established strong relationships with over 30 lending institutions and has undertaken large projects in mainland Europe, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Ireland, as well as throughout the UK.
Will Green
Executive Director
Since graduating in 2011 with a degree in quantity surveying from Nottingham Trent University, Will has become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and forged a career in due diligence and project monitoring. Will’s experience covers all sectors, and he has advised on projects ranging from £1 million to £195 million. Will is based in London, where he has built up a particular expertise in hotels and commercial and residential developments.
